Step 1: Visit your Yahoo Mail, go to mail.yahoo.com. Log in if needed.

Step 2: Click “Settings” gear on the right side of the page and choose “More Settings“.

Step 3: On the left sidebar, click “Vacation Response“.

Step 4: Enable the “Enable vacation” response switch.

Step 5: Set a start and end date for the out of office response. Any emails received inside this range will receive an automatic response, so make sure you set the right dates.

Step 6: Enter a basic message explaining that you’re out of office and will reply to person’s message when you return.

Note: If you want to “send a different message” to certain contact, enable the Add another response slider. Add one or two contact, then write a specific Email for them.

Step 7: Click “Save” to finish.
