To add multiple contacts to a Gmail you can import from CSV files. CSV file is a good file format used to store contacts and contacts. CSV is a simple file format that saves tabular data with a fixed data field. You can open CSV with excel or notepad.

The CSV file acts as an intermediary to move from one folder to another, and export the old contacts to CSV and then import them into the new contacts from the exported CSV file.

Import contacts for Gmail from a simple CSV file.

Step 1: Make sure that you have a contact file, file is in Google CSV format.

Step 2: Open your Gmail inbox. Go to gmail.com.

Step 3: Click “Gmail“. A drop-down menu will appear.

Step 4: Click “Contacts“. This opens the Contacts page.

Step 5: Click “More“.

Step 6: Click “Import“.

Step 7: Click “Browse“. It’s in the pop-up window. Doing so opens a File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) window in which you can locate your CSV file.

Step 8: Select the Google CSV file and Click “open“.

Step 9: Click “Import“. This blue button is at the bottom of the pop-up window. Doing so will add the Google Contacts file’s contents to your Gmail account’s Contacts
